College of Charleston Named a Top Producer of Fulbright Scholars

The College of Charleston has recently been named the sixth top producer of Fulbright scholars among all master's-level schools in the United States and it is the only South Carolina school to make the list! Five of its students, out of 33 who applied, recently received Fulbright awards and this is a record number for the school. The Fulbright program was launched in 1946 to foster mutual understanding between Americans and people of other countries. Since its founding, 390,000 students, teachers, scholars, artists, and professionals have been given the opportunity to conduct research, study, teach and bring new ideas in the hopes of improving lives around the globe. Our own Team Leader, Alan Donald, is one such student from Colombia who received a Fulbright award to come to the US to earn an MBA at the University of California, Berkeley. Read more here...
