Olde Park is an upscale, custom-built neighborhood offering some of the most elegant and luxurious homes in Mount Pleasant. The subdivision was created in 2000 and purposefully designed to have a mature feeling of a neighborhood that had been established for 30 years. The entrance is located off of Mathis Ferry Road near the Cooper River Bridge and is next to the well-known I'On subdivision. The back of the neighborhood borders Hobcaw Creek.
The homes in Olde Park are constructed with the highest quality materials. Most of these homes are at least 3500 sq. ft., priced $900K's and up, and are built in the "Southern Living" fashion. There are a total of 114 lots in Olde Park, Of these homes, many are located around the man-made lake with a community gazebo.
Olde Park is only 5 minutes away from the Charleston Historic District (Downtown) and approximately 10 minutes away from the beach. It is also only a few minutes away from Shem Creek and its assortment of seafood restaurants, the shopping at Town Center, and Patriots Point (sports complex, golf, marina). There are no amenities in Olde Park but an agreement was reached in which homeowners may join the neighboring I'On Club which boasts many swimming pools, lighted clay tennis courts, a clubhouse, a boatramp, and a fitness facility.
