The Community

Carolina Park is a 1700-acre, mixed use (residential & commercial) "master-planned" community built around the concept in which residents may work, shop, and play without ever leaving the community. A community shopping center within Carolina Park will include high end retailers, entertainment facilities, restaurants, and a luxury hotel. Another central retail center will have a major grocery store, a drug store, restaurants, a bank, and other miscellaneous retail shops. The brand new Roper St. Francis Hospital is situated in Carolina Park (along Highway 17N) in addition to the Wando High School campus.

The amenity-packed Residents Club includes a junior olympic size pool, kid-friendly water features, playground and more. Carolina Park is located on the Northern tip of Mount Pleasant (on Highway 17) surrounding the Wando High School campus - between Park West, The Mount Pleasant Regional Airport, and Darrell Creek. The community is located just 6 miles north of I-526 and 2 miles north of Highway 41, 25 minutes from Downtown Charleston, 25 minutes from the airport, and 5 minutes from Mount Pleasant Towne Center.
