Alan is a REALTOR® and Broker Associate with Keller Williams Realty in Charleston-Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Initially trained as a Mechanical Engineer, Alan earned a Fulbright Scholarship and completed a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of California at Berkeley, where he specialized in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
Alan brings extensive and diverse international experience: 19 years of real estate sales (residential, commercial and industrial), 8 years of international marketing consulting and 5 years of higher education; in Australia, Canada, Colombia and the U.S.
In the past twelve years, Alan has sold more than 275 properties worth over $75 million in the Charleston, SC Area and has built a successful business based on strong client relationships. More than 70% of Alan's business comes from referrals from past clients and people who know him. In 2015, Alan ranked in the top 2% of the Charleston MLS, earning him the "Realtor of Distinction" Award.
Alan has established a strong presence and brand recognition with the local business community in Mt Pleasant, as well as the Hispanic community in Charleston (he is bilingual in Spanish), and has successfully helped many out-of-town clients who came to retire in Charleston, Mt. Pleasant or Daniel Island, SC. In 2014 Alan received the Seniors' Real Estate Specialist Designation (SRES) and in 2015 his CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) designation from the National Association of Realtors.
Alan's team has ample (and successful) experience working with first-time home buyers, new construction buyers, investors, move-up/downsizing clients, military transfers, investors, luxury buyers/sellers and out-of-town retirees.
Alan has been a volunteer at The Citadel School of Business Mentors' Association, the former Latin American Business Council of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors and the Keller Williams Realty Associate Leadership Council.
He is active in the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce, The Citadel School of Business Mentors Association and The Charleston Women In International Trade (CWIT).
In his spare time, Alan is an active tennis player, and enjoys camping, reading, photography, fishing, sailing, dancing and traveling.

Meghan is a Philadelphia native and a College of Charleston graduate. Having lived in the Lowcountry since 2009, she has grown to know and love Charleston well. She enjoys showing clients around our beautiful city and educating them on the local market trends and process.
Meghan joined The Alan Donald Team in 2013 as the Office Manager and Transaction Coordinator. She knows the home buying process inside and out, and her personality enabled her to make a natural transition into the role of a realtor just a few months later.
As the Buyer Specialist on The Alan Donald Team, Meghan enjoys helping all types of home buyers. Whether they be first-time home buyers, retirees, corporate relocation, move-up & downsizing buyers, out-of-town/second home buyers, new construction buyers, or investors, Meghan will help them find and acquire the perfect home. She is passionate about her clients' needs and finding them the home of their dreams in our beautiful city.
