Alan is a REALTOR® with Keller Williams Realty in Charleston-Mt. Pleasant, SC. Initially trained as a Mechanical Engineer, Alan earned a Fulbright Scholarship and completed a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of California at Berkeley, where he specialized in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
Alan brings extensive and diverse international experience: 13 years of real estate sales (residential, commercial and industrial), 8 years of international marketing consulting and 5 years of higher education; in Australia, Canada, Colombia and the U.S.
In the past seven years, Alan has sold more than 90 properties worth over $23 million (consistently ranking in the top 10% for his 200+ agent office) and has built a successful business based on strong client relationships. More than 80% of his business is derived from referrals from past clients and people who know him.
As a fully bilingual (Spanish) and multicultural REALTOR®, he has established both a strong presence and top-of-mind brand recognition with the traditional business community in Mt Pleasant, as well as the Hispanic communities in Charleston, and out-of-town clients who wish to come to live in Charleston, Mt. Pleasant or Daniel Island.
Alan has ample successful experience with SHORT SALES and BANK-OWNED properties. The team has worked with first-time home buyers, investors, move-up buyers, military transfers and retirees.
Alan is an active volunteer at The Citadel School of Business Administration Mentors' Association, and the Latin American Business Council of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. He has also served at the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors and at the Keller Williams Realty Agent Leadership Council. Alan is also a member of the Mount Pleasant Business and Professional Association, the Longpoint Business Club and the Scottish Society of Charleston, as well as the Charleston Women In International Trade.
In his spare time, Alan is an active tennis player, and enjoys camping, taking photographs, fishing and traveling with his family.

Heidi de T. Schless, MCP
As a city planner with 20 years international development consulting, Heidi is great at preparing market statistics, analyzing trends and figuring out behaviors for different sub-markets. Heidi's vast international consulting experience includes KPMG, ERA and other top-tier consulting companies.
Her specialties are market studies, feasibility analyses, tourism strategies and strategic analysis for tourism development projects. She particularly enjoys helping communities develop sustainable and heritage/cultural tourism development strategies.
Sandra Patrick and Kristie Potts, Closing Coordinators
Regardless of how often you buy or sell homes, contract-to-closing coordination is a critical stage of the real estate business. Sandra and Kristie make sure all parties are prepared on time and that all the "i's" are dotted and the "t's" crossed before the closing (including but not limited to due diligence, inspections, surveys, attorneys, insurance, etc.).
Sandra does most regular closings, while Kristie specializes in short sales.
Sandra and Kristie live in Mt. Pleasant with their families, and together they bring eleven years experience coordinating real estate closings. They have developed a smooth and efficient system to assist our clients go through a potentially stressful experience with minimum hassle.
