Charleston National was designed to be a private country club in the manner of Augusta National and the community is a first class combination of elegant, well-built homes, amenities, and the Charleston National Country Club. Charleston National Country Club is known for its golf course which is an 18 hole course designed by Rees Jones and is built on marshland with many natural wetlands, lagoons, and oak trees. The course is considered one of the best/most exclusive courses in the Charleston area.
There are several subsections in Charleston National to fit all types of home buyers. A majority of the homes range in price from $275K to $2,000,000 and there are still home sites that haven't been built on yet. There is a handy supermarket shopping area in the neighborhood. Charleston National offers many amenities of a private country club such as a top-notch golf course, a clubhouse, a pool, tennis courts, and walking/biking trails. The schools in the area all receive good report cards. There are two elementary schools with Laurell Hill and Pinckney, Cario Middle School, and Wando High School.
