NOVEMBER 2023 EVENTS
It’s November and we are starting to enjoy the cooler temps and prepare for the holiday season! This month, there are plenty of fun festivals and events to check out, including the continuation of the Coastal Carolina Fair (1st-5th), the 2nd Annual AfroSouth Film Festival, (2nd-5th), the 52nd Annual Charleston Scottish Games (4th), as well as the Holy Smokes BBQ Festival (11th) and the return of Charleston's Spiegeltent (18th-12/23). As the days grow shorter, the annual Holiday Festival of Lights (10th-12/31) at James Island County Park kicks off, turning the park into a sparkling wonderland of lights and holiday cheer. And for those looking to burn some calories before their Thanksgiving feast, the 46th Annual Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble 5K (22nd) offers a fun and active start to the holiday season! Holidays this month include Election Day (7th), Veterans Day (11th), Thanksgiving (23rd) and some other fun ones found here. Daylight Savings Time (DST) ends and clocks go back an hour on Sunday the 5th. We’ve also listed (with links) lots of weekly and individual events below so you can make the most of the month!
