Overview
Looking for a bargain priced home with that ''new home construction'' feel inside? One where everything feels new, and move-in ready? Check out the owner's notes on this beautifully renovated home in Tall Pines Plantation!Foyer: This room features a motion sensor switch that activates upon entry to the room, it is convenient for entering the house in the dark, it is set on a 5 minute timer to conserve energy. There is a coat closet with plenty of space for shoes and purses or other bags on the shelf above. One of the switches by the door controls the front porch lights and the other will turn off the room light and reset the motion sensor for 1 minute; the switch on the adjacent wall controls the power receptacle on the front porch which is convenient for outdoor seasonal decoratioFormal living room/ sitting room/ etc.: The light has a switch and a remote to control dimming and the fan speed. This room is a perfect place to have as a sitting room away from the main house, great place for a billiard table, or place a piano as it has great acoustics.Dining room: The dining area is large enough for 8+ chairs, this is the perfect place to put away electronic devices and have a nice meal with the family while talking about your day. The windows overlook the large play-set outside so you can keep a close eye on the children playing.Kitchen: Upon entering this room you will notice the pendant light is on a motion sensor switch with similar settings to the foyer light; the three-way switch located by the dining room doorway turns on the recessed lighting and the other switch is located by the large entry way. The kitchen has granite countertops with great flow like a river for a unique touch; the cabinets are solid wood, the drawers have fully extending slides with ball bearings to last for many years to come. Stainless steel appliances, a large refrigerator for a family the size of this house, the buttons on the dishwasher are located on-top to prevent the little ones from incidentally starting it, the oven has convect which has become our favorite way of baking. The breakfast nook has a nice view with bay windows and is large enough for a family table. The kitchen overlooked the large den and has a view of the upper walkway.Walkway: Contains the thermostat for the lower unit and return air which are nicely centered in the house. The hall light is a three-way switch with one located on the center wall and the other on the wall entering the den.Half-bath: Large enough to not have the door interfere with your private time and storage below the sink to place necessary utilities. The toilet seat has soft close hinges to stop unwanted slamming.Utility room: This utility room is nicely separated from the kitchen and other living areas; it has ample amount of storage above the washer and dryer and a utility sink.Garage: The garage is large enough for two normal sized vehicles with space for tools, the doors are insulated to help maintain perfect ambient temperature and there is a single air vent to assist as well. The closet contains the large water heater and still has space for storage. The door opener lights are on motion sensor, the door motors are belt driven for quiet operation and one motor contains a backup battery and the other is backup battery ready. The lights on the switches by the staircase make for a bright work area and one of them can also be controlled by the outer walk in door, the other switch by the outer entry door turns on the outer garage light; the switch by the windows operates the private street light located next to the driveway. Living room: The light and fan switches are located by the stairs, the fan is large enough to circulate this entire room and has more than enough light for a game night on the floor. This room features a large brick fireplace for those cold nights. This room is large enough for any size couch you can think up (we had a very large sectional and still had plenty of room for the kids to dance and play). The 3 switches by the door control the flood lights, porch light and fan; the single switch on the other side of the door turns on the play house lights and switches(located on the outer lights). Back Porch: This large screened in porch is over 200sqft and has enough space for sitting furniture and a grill(just keep it away from walls and the screen). The outer door has a soft close hinge to avoid slamming when the kids decide to run in and out. Back yard: The backyard features a large custom play-set with a slide, sand box, swings, upper and lower play area, skybridge and picnic table. There is a brick fire-pit, storage shed to put lawn equipment in and a gardening area. The crape myrtles bloom beautiful pink and fuchsia flowers in the spring and fall, these are great low maintenance trees. The yard is fully fenced to keep the kids and pets contained.Back inside: Lets start where we left off, from the large staircase, we will name the bedrooms in order of appearance 1-5.Bedroom 1: This room has a remote with a dimming light, a window facing the front of the house and a closet large enough for guests or kids.Bedroom 2: This is the largest room which can be used as a bedroom, man/woman cave or a kids playroom, the possibilities are endless.Upper hallway: The upper hall contains the upper unit thermostat and return air; the attic access has stairs and the attic has a large area with plywood flooring and two lights to see.Bathroom: This bathroom has a shower/tub kit with sliding glass doors, the cabinet has soft close doors, a large medicine cabinet, enough towel rack space for all the kids and the toilet has a soft-close lid.Linen closet: A large linen closet with more than enough shelving. Master Bedroom (#3): The light switch has a dimmer for a more intimate setting, a return air by the doorway, windows overlooking the back yard and doors to close off the bathroom. Master Bathroom: Features his and hers sinks, a large tub, a toilet with soft-close hinges, and the walk-in closet.Bedroom 4: Has separate switches for fan/light, a return air and beautiful views through the two windows.Bedroom 5: Features a walk-in closet, light switch with remote, a return air vent and two perfectly placed windows with view of the front yard.Other notes: Roof replaced in 2016 with architectural shingles and a full ridge vent. Established low maintenance palm trees to add beautiful low-country flare, inviting dual tone shutters and front door, blueberry bushes in the front garden produce tasteful blueberries in the summer and gardenias with the most inviting smells. You get the picture. This house is really special. Mark it as a favorite, and set your appointment to see it today!
