MAY 2023 EVENTS
After a jam-packed April, the festivals continue into May! There’s the 40th Annual North Charleston Arts Fest (3rd-7th), Charleston Cinco de Mayo Festival (6th), McClellanville’s 45th Annual Lowcountry Shrimp Festival and Blessing of the Fleet (6th), the 3rd Annual Park Circle Spring Roll Challenge & Food Truck Festival (6th), the 52nd Annual Charleston Greek Festival (12th-14th), Spring Wine Festival in the Gardens (13th), and the Spoleto Festival (5/26-6/11). There’s also a great array of events for everyone and many local farmers markets to check out. Plus, it’s Asian American Month and we have some holidays to celebrate, including May Day (1st), Cinco de Mayo (5th), Mother’s Day (14th) and Memorial Day (29th), with more listed here. We’ve listed many local weekly and individual events below and provided links so you can find out more.
