Charleston In The News
Conde Nast Travel and Leisure Magazine has again tapped us as #2 Best City in the World, and #1 Best City in the US and Canada for the 3rd consecutive year! Woo hoo!
Hall’s Chophouse was just voted #1 steakhouse in SC. Charleston was also chosen as 1 of 10 cities for the James Beard Foundations Taste America Tour. In health services, US News ranked MUSC #1 in SC, Bon Secours-St. Francis in West Ashley #3, and Roper St Francis Hospital downtown #6.
The word is out that we will have a second Whole Foods store coming to Charleston. Nordstom Rack is opening in Mount Pleasant.
Suddenly we’re being overrun with new outdoor sports stores: We have a Field and Stream and a Gander Mountain already, and Bass Pro Shop and Cabela’s have locations in the works. How did such an outdoor place like Charleston survive this long without these?
