TALENT DEMAND STUDY PREDICTS 35,000 MORE JOBS FOR THE CHARLESTON METRO AREA OVER NEXT 5 YEARS

A 2018 update of the Talent Demand Study released by the Charleston Metro Chamber and the Charleston Regional Development Alliance forecasts that close to 35,000 new jobs - 32% more than the previous five-year job growth prediction made in 2016 - will be added to the Charleston Metro area over the next five years. It also identifies the fastest-growing and most in-demand occupations as well as anticipated talent supply gaps.   Read More Here


NEW MOBILE APP RELEASED FOR LOWCOUNTRY GO COMMUTER PROGRAM

Tri-County commuters can now download the new, easy-to-use Lowcountry Go mobile app to find safe ride share opportunities with carpool and vanpool partners, first and last mile connections, transit route information and other travel options, as well as save money and help reduce traffic congestion and environmental impacts.  Registered users can also track their savings and reduced impacts and compete with others while doing so.
