Heron Pointe is a wonderful subdivision located off of Mathis Ferry Road, near Olde Park. This neighborhood was developed around the late 1980's through the 1990's, giving these homes an older style of architecture. The well established neighborhood boasts mature trees and beautiful landscaping alongside Heron Lake, a large 5 acre lake situated in the middle of the neighborhood. Many homes feature lake or marsh front views. Heron Pointe does not have any amenities, making the HOA slightly less costly. However, if interested in amenities such as a pool, tennis courts, and a gym, residents can join the I'On Club which is located just a short walk away in the I'On subdivision just to the right of Hidden Lakes.
