Daniel Island SC: David Weekly Homes Launches a “Quick Finish” Semi-Custom Home Building Program
Well-known builder David Weekly Homes has introduced a new way to think about semi-custom built homes for their Daniel Island homes.
Normally, a client would pick a lot, pick a floor plan, go to the design center and pick all the finishes. The home would then be built for the individual client in about 6 months.
In order to drastically reduce this lead time and make new homes more attractive to buyers with tighter time restrictions, Weekly will build a number their most popular floor plans (typically priced from the mid $300K’s to high $700K’s) to a level of completion that just needs the buyer's selection of finishes (flooring, cabinetry, tile, paint colors, lighting fixtures, door hardware and other interior details that make the home “customized” to the client’s personal style and preferences.
